Raining Stars

From the photographer: “This shows a small pine forest in Fonte-de-Telha, Almada, Portugal, on a moonlit night. With some imagination, I recorded the movement of stars (rotation of the Earth) for over half an hour. Jupiter can be seen rising to the right of the silhouette of a cautious observer, prepared with his umbrella for a great ‘rain’ of stars.”
