Quadruple Conjunction
Description
From the photographer: “The Moon, Venus, Mars and Spica form a ‘Z’ at the right side of the photo. At the left the Southern Milky Way frames the shot. Along the starry band of the Milky Way you can see the southern constellation of Crux, with the pointer stars Alpha & Beta Centauri. At the very top of the frame are portions of the constellation Scorpio.”
