Quadrantid Meteors over Japan

Meteors appear over Mount Fuji during the peak of Quadrantid Meteor Shower in early January. The world-known natural symbol of Japan, Fuji is the highest mountain in the country that reaches 3,776m. It is one of the Three Holy Mountains in Japanese culture. Mt. Fuji is a live volcano and last erupted about 300 years ago.
