From the photographer: “The Pleiades rising above Ama Dablam (6812 meters) – a Himalayan peak in the Khumbu-Valley, Nepal, considered by many climbers as the most beautiful mountain of the world. I took this timed exposure from the monastery of Tengboche (3867 meters above sea level) in November 2007.”
