Perseids Above Macari
Description
From the photographer: “Macari is a rocky coast that extends between the promontory of San Vito Lo Capo and Mount Cofano. It is known for the beauty of its pristine waters and for the cliffs and coves that offer angles of Sicilian beauty and which have offered the name to a television series of the same name. This image shows the coast extending south towards the city of Trapani lighting up the sky and Erice, whose lights can be seen just to the left of Mount Cofano. The Milky Way extends towards the sea while 3 brilliant Perseids cross the sky.”
