Painted by Nature

A fine art painting at the first glance, this photograph has captured the full moon through fast moving storm clouds in Sweden. The Red Planet, Mars, shining at its brightest (near the opposition) is above it. Around the moon is a broken but colorful corona formed as bright moonlight is diffracted by water droplets in thin clouds drifting in front of the lunar disk.
