Orion the Hunter Hunted in a Circle

From the photographer: ” I waited till the Orion constellation was in the exact position to frame the well-known stars inside the wheel of an iron monument in remembrance of the pass of the Tour de France by this mountain’s port. I preferred to blur the stars in order to give the image this special appearance. The Orion constellation is one of the best known and it’s easy to recognize in the winter sky. The Orion Nebula is visible in the photo with its unmistakable red color.”
