Orion and the German Alps

From the photographer: “This night we wanted to take pictures of meteors, but in Ottobeuren and all of south Germany we had thick fog. In Oberjoch (60km south of Ottobeuren) we traveled above the fog and found a great starry place in the Alps. Sadly we saw no meteors, primarily on account of the full moon. Instead of meteoroids we took pictures of the starry sky.”
