Orion and Sirius
Description
Orion, a prominent winter constellation (as seen from the northern hemisphere) stands at the upper right of this view from Hungary. Continue southward the connecting line of the three stars in the belt of Orion to reach Sirius, right above the tree. This is the brightest star in the entire sky, and at the distance of 8 light years away it is in the galactic neighborhood of our sun.
