Orion Aamong the Mediterranean Agaves
Description
A photo composite of two exposures. From the photographer: “On the night of January 28th, a very suggestive picture appeared in front of my eyes, the glitter of the winter night sky in a path along the coast of the Mediterranean sea where the night manifests itself in all its splendor in the eyes of those who feel the need and the urgency of looking for it in order to re-establish contact with heaven and with creation.
In the photo Orion, the hunter of the winter sky, hides behind the flower of an agave, a characteristic plant of the Mediterranean area, you can also see the nebulosity, very difficult and compelling to capture on the photographic sensor, which concern this fascinating portion of the sky.”
Technical data: The result is a stack of two photos, one for the sky and one for the landscape. The photo of the sky was taken 1 hour and a half earlier than the landscape in order to make the stack. The position of the stars has been respected.
