Description

From the photographer: “A summer night of Scotland, looking north from Firkin Point Loch Lomond. It shows the sun still shining in northern skies. The changes of hue from blue to white from south to north were striking and indicative of our Sun’s yearly travel across the latitudes. The mountains surrounding the loch helped channel some light towards the shore. Earlier the shore rocks had a very slight blue tint from the sky so I added some of my own blue light later when it got darker. Capella is the bright star on the right and it is a double binary. 4 stars split into 2 and billed as the one show. Now that is pure magic as we say here in Glasgow.”
