Description

The Moon and rays of aurora over the shores of Labrador Sea, Greenland. The statue of Leif Erikson appears in Qassiarsuk settlement, in the southern shores of the country. Leif Erikson (970 – 1020) was a Norseman explorer from Iceland who is regarded as the first European to land in North America nearly 500 years before Christopher Columbus (probably first landed in Newfoundland, Canada). On the attempt to reach new lands he also explored various shores of Greenland and founded the first Norseman colony there.

Is this a photograph? It’s so surreal and intense that I cannot imagine how it could be a photograph, at least not what I think of as a photograph (a picture taken with a camera).
It looks like a CG image, a painting, or an amazing piece of a cinematic production (meaning, a movie) viewed on then ultra, highest-quality screen.

I love it! Stunning, magnificent, mesmerizing, fascinating, gorgeous, and more! I’d love this piece of art professionally framed and in my home, so I could contemplate it every day!!! Just, “WOW!”
