Description

From the photographer: “I couldn’t believe that I didn’t have to travel halfway across the world to see this otherworldly scene only 35 minutes drive from home. This is the view from a rocky part of the Lake Erie shore from the Canadian side. Light pollution in this area is usually a bit worse but there were clouds and thick haze over the cities on the American side of the lake therefore dimming down some of the bright lights that shine into the night sky.”

Technical details:
Canon R6, ISO6400, Sigma 15mm Fisheye f2.8, a single 30-second exposure
