Night of an Ancient Library
Description
A fisheye view of August 2008 total solar eclipse as seen from the shore of Ob Sea, a large lake approximately 40 km to the south of the Russian city Novosibirsk. As noted by the photographer “The image is made by several digital photos which are stitched together to create a 360 panoramic horizontal image. All photos were taken by a team of Spanish students of the educational project “Ruta de las Estrellas” in Shelios 2008 expedition, organized to observe this solar eclipse. The two notable bright spots in the sky are fireworks to celebrate the eclipse.
