Night Hours and Eclipse Day

As seen on Astronomy Picture of the Day, an unusual fisheye composite image of the 2017 August 21 from the shore of Lake Magone in Oregon. From the photographer: “This is a little Planet projection image that includes the path of the Sun every 15 minutes and a circumpolar star trail of 4 about hours the night before the eclipse. My inspiration was this mage by Gyorgy Soponyai.”
