Night at the Grand Canyon of the Pacific

The Milky Way in the constellations Scorpius and Sagittarius shines in this stunning starry night of Kauai, one of the main Hawaiian Islands. Known as the Grand Canyon of the Pacific, the Waimea Canyon, is pictured here at night. The flow of Waimea River has formed Waimea Canyon. It is one of the world’s most scenic canyons and about 900m deep. As noted by the photographer “I was most pleased with this starry night in Kauai, one of the wettest spots on the Earth.”
