Description

From the photographer: “In East Asia the Pagoda is used as a Taoist house of worship, mostly for religious purposes (most commonly Buddhist). They are often located in or near temples. This particular Pagoda is located on the top of Mt. Namsan in Kyoung-ju, South Korea. Shilla is an old kingdom of Korean History. Shilla’s people believed that Mt. Namsan is Buddha’s Utopia. The stars have seen this Pagoda and Shilla’s people for a thousand years.”
