Moonrise above Angkor Wat

From the photographer: “During my last trip to Cambodia I had the chance to take pictures of a moonrise above Angkor Wat. This ancient structure is the best known temple of the Angkor group, a holy place that provided a great scene for watching the full moon rising. A Buddhist monk and a traveling group from the United States watched the moonrise together with us. We explained to them why the moon looks so big and red. It was an awesome experience for us and them.”
