Moonlight on Fresh Snow
Description
From the photographer: “WOW, I could not believe my eyes, how beautiful the Gorak Shep becomes after snow! In this moonlight night, the Big Dipper rises above the Himalayas. Polaris, the North Star, appears just above the summit of Mt. Pumori on the left, reaching 7145m above sea level. The bright star Arcturus appears above Mt. Nuptse of 7879m on the right. In the end, the 5150m altitude and -20 degree let you know the true meaning of Eyes in paradise but Body in the hell.”
