Moon and the Earth Shadow

The full moon sets in the morning twilight as the Earth shadow is banding at the opposite horizon from the sun. From the photographer: “I tried to capture the scene with the lighthouses of Penmarc’h in Brittany, France. A contrail is drawing a funny shaped cloud ideally located.
Then, I was graced with anticrepuscular rays formed by contrails. The Belt of Venus (the pink-red band above the Earth shadow) was really nice and was changing minutes after minutes.” Click on the second photo to see a closer view of this scene.
