Moon and Planets Above the Castle of Karytaina

From the photographer: “At the evening skies of the first days of February, we were able to see the waxing crescent moon and two of the planets of our solar system; Venus and Saturn. During our recent trip to central Peloponnese, we had the opportunity to visit the village of Karytaina, at Arcadia. In this image, I decided to capture the crescent moon and the two planets above the historic castle of Karytaina. In 1821, it was one of the first castles that were liberated, following the first victory of the Greek Revolutionaries, under Theodoros Kolokotronis in the battle of Karytaina.”
