Milkyway Over Pian di Cengia

From the photographer: “The Milky Way over a beautiful place called Pian di Cengia, that is located in Tre Cime Natural Park, Dolomites, in Italy. In the image you can also see the refuge called Pian di Cengia which is a support point for hikers in the Dolomites, located on the border between the municipalities of Auronzo di Cadore and Sesto Pusteria. The Pian di Cengia refuge is the highest and smallest refuge in the Tre Cime Natural Park. In the middle of the Sesto sundial: between Cima Dodici and Cima Uno, facing Cima Dieci and Cima Undici, the refuge is closer to heaven than to earth. The area is very dark and this allowed me to capture the sky well, like in a tale.”
