Milky Way View from Jamaica

From the photographer: “I always look forward to traveling to different places around the world to observe the night sky. Here I am in the center of the small island of Jamaica. Sadly the light pollution is spreading into areas that were once so dark that you felt like you could reach out and touch the stars. I took this picture back in 2017 before I had proper wide-angle lenses for nightscape photography.”

Technical details: Canon 17-40 mm set to 17mm, f4,  ISO 3200 and 30 seconds.
