Description

A photo composite of two exposures. From the photographer: “After arriving at Cape Sounion I set up my second camera and started capturing images of the milky way using a wide-angle lens in order to combine them in a timelapse video. During this process, I was focused on capturing another timelapse at a longer focal length; that’s because I was aiming to capture a still image during the astronomical twilight. Unfortunately, the clouds were moving quite fast that I almost lost the chance to capture it, although I manage to capture a true “last minute” image of the milky way before it disappeared behind the clouds.”

Technical details: Nikon D750, and 20mm f1.8G lens
Two images captured from the exact same spot using the exact same settings one after the other, in order to reveal the details of the milky way as well as the details of the flower at the foreground.
