Description

From the photographer: “A few minutes after the sunset we had the chance to capture the milky way above the Helmos Observatory at an altitude of 2340 meters. At this time of the year, the milky way is already in the sky after the sunset, so it was quite easy to see it with the naked eye and to frame my shot as I wanted. We got quite lucky because, besides the high altitude, we didn’t have any problems with the wind, it was calm and peaceful during the whole night. Especially, when I captured this image, the only sound that we were hearing was the sheep’s bells ringing far in the distance returning to the farm; nothing else, nothing distracting, it was magnificent. This image is a single-exposure captured using my star tracker at half speed and a diffuser filter as well.”
