Milky Way Above Mt Huayna Potosí

A single exposure photo of the Galactic Centre setting above Mt Huayna Potosí (6088m / 19,975ft) in Bolivia’s Cordillera Real range. The peak is one of the most popular climbs in Bolivia, in the middle of the image below the peak you can see the lights of climbers making their way across the lower glaciers towards the summit. The glow on the peak is from the lights of the cities of La Paz and El Alto maybe 60km away.
