Milky Way Above a Thunderstorm

From the photographer: “During my recent overnight camp at Helmos Mountain, I had the chance to capture the night sky after a long time. My tent was set at the Neraidorachi peak at an altitude of 2340 meters. The high altitude and the clear sky gave me the opportunity to capture timelapses all night long.

In one of these timelapse sequences of the Milky Way, I was lucky enough to capture also a thunderstorm in the distance. This was one of the highlights of this amazing night.”
