Description

From the photographer: “The southwestern section of the Roques de Garcia rock formation at the base of the Teide volcano stands illuminated under a clear, starlit sky. The jagged peaks of the ancient volcanic landscape contrast sharply with the deep, dark heavens, as the majestic Andromeda Galaxy rises in the background. When ascending from Llano de Ucanca, one is rewarded with the most breathtaking view of these gigantic rocks, so much so that I spontaneously spent an entire night there photographing the scene. The absolute silence beneath the starry sky in this awe-inspiring landscape offers an extraordinary experience, one that has left me, since then, longing to return for yet another photography night at this remarkable location.”
