Description

The digital startrail image from the 13th century medieval castle of Csesznek in Hungary shows several streaks made by meteors and an Iridium Satellite. Move the slider on the image to recognize which one is meteor and which is satellite. As noted by the photographer “I made 1.5 hours total exposure time in this picture (from continues 30 sec frames). The remains of the castle is illuminated by moonlight. A bright Iridium satellite at magnitude -5,7 magnitude passed the view, as well as a bright meteor in this night of Perseid meteor shower peak. Also left to it a fainter Perseid and a sporadic meteor can be seen.”
