Mercury Above the Mediterranean Sea
Description
The evanescent and elusive planet Mercury, taken after sunset above the coast of south-eastern Sicily. Mercury is always very close to the sun and it is difficult to observe it. But on these days it reached the maximum angular separation from the sun (longest elongation) that allowed us to observe it and enjoy the show.In the distance, you can see the seaside villages of Marina di Ragusa and Punta Secca.
