Description

Mars as its brightest shines next to bright star Spica in Virgo over The Cove of Île Vierge or the Virgin Island in the Brittany of France. On the far right is the Gibbous Moon and on the far left are lights of the harbor of Morgat. Mars appears here near its opposition with the Earth which happens every 26 months and brought the two planets to closest orbital distance and causes Mars to become quite bright in the Earth sky.
