From the photographer: “Beautiful lunar corona. A 95% waxing gibbous moon shines above Auckland Sky Tower. It was a funny experience when I took this shot in the city center as everyone who passed me looked at the sky, trying to figure out what I was photographing. What a good way to show them the beautiful night sky.”
