Looking Southward

From the photographer: “The Caldera de Taburiente in the foreground and the two Cumbres (Cumbre Vieja and Cumbre Nueva) of La Palma in the background. It’s an almost overall-view of the island. And of course, above it all, the Milky Way.

Technical details: It’s a panorama picture consisting of four images in two rows. Developed in Lightroom, stitched in PtGUI, further editing in Photoshop. The camera used is a Sony A7s (no modifications) with a Canon 24mm-lens, mounted on a VR Pro II by Novoflex. EXIFs: 15s, F/2.2, ISO 12800″
