Description

The evening twilight fades to darkness over the city lights of Innsbruck, embraced by the Alps. Stars of Ursa Major (the Big Bear) are notable on the right and bright star Arcturus in the constellation Bootes is on the left over the northwest. Increasing lights around the globe, change the natural view of the night sky. A surprisingly high percentage of our lights scatter to the sky without any use in illuminating the ground at night.
