Light Within

Panorama nightscape image of the Milky Way at the Pinnacles Nambung National Park in Western Australia taken in September 2015.  The crescent moon sitting atop one of the pinnacles creates a backlit image and shadows from the limestone pillars.  The zodiacal light streams up towards the core of the Milky Way.  The image were featured twice on APOD and appeared in a book by Brian Cox and Jeff Forshaw – A Guide to the Cosmos.
