The Large Magellanic Cloud (LMC) appears with some structure and details such as Tarantula Nebula (at bottom left). The bright star at left is Canopus, the second brightest in our night sky after Sirius. This area of Namibia inhabits great predators such as cheetah. Imaged from Ganab (central Namibia) with Sony A7S modified DSLR on a static tripod. A single 15sec exposure at ISO 8000 through na 85mm f1.8 lens.
