Lake Doxa Under the Winter Night Sky

From the photographer: “There is nothing to ask for except a clear night sky, calm and away from the city lights. This was my birthday present; a dreamy evening at my favorite Lake Doxa (I wish I could stay longer). This image was captured from the coast and portrays the Milky Way and Deneb (constellation of Cygnus, just above the mountain ridge line) during a cold and calm night in February. Everything was peaceful that night; the water of the lake was calm reflecting the starlights and the only sounds I was hearing were from the animals moving around.”
