Description

A fantastic view from a high position on the isle La Palma, made in dawn. The waning moon at 6% illuminated phase was nearby our earth. The earthshine on the lunar globe was brilliant this morning. In direction of east our neighboring planet Venus was brightly visible. In direction of south-east you can see Mount Teide in Tenerife, in a distance of almost 115 km. The panoramic photo with a field of view of 170° was taken in an altitude of approximately 2.000 meters above the sea and perhaps 1.200 meters above the clouds. A scene of peace and freedom.
