Jupiter and the Monkey Forest Temple

Illuminated in moonlight, the planet Jupiter rises directly above the Mandala Monkey Sacred Forest Temple, Ubud, Bali. The Temple expresses in its architectural form, Balinese Hindu cosmology and the creation of Bali. Naga’s (serpents) both male and female with cosmic eggs, intertwined with the Turtle (island of Bali) upon which rests the progressive layers of human and God realms stretching
towards the sky.
