Description

Autumn stars, from the constellation of Aries and Andormeda to Cassioepiea, shine above the moonlit dense jungle of Corbett National Park in Northern India. The park is situated in Uttarakhand province and is most famous for Bengal tigers and wild elephants. The park has sub-Himalayan belt geographical and ecological characteristics. It contains about 500 different species of plants and a diverse variety of fauna. In the foreground of the image the Ramganga river is visible, a tributary of the river Ganga.
