From the photographer: “Here is the International Space Station (ISS) transiting over Neor lake in Ardabil, Iran. The ISS appears in this star trail image at 21:10:37 at magnitude -3.4 from the northwest horizon, reaching its maximum altitude at 21:13:42.”

Editor’s note: The light trail of the space station’s sunlight reflection is the one light trail in the sky portion of the image that does not follow the same path as the background star trails.
