Description

From the photographer: “In a rare coincidence that has not been repeated, the International Space Station (ISS) soars directly over the space shuttle Atlantis as it sits on the launch pad at the Kennedy Space Center, FL, ready to launch the next morning. Lit up by powerful xenon lights, STS-115 would deliver one of the ISS’s four giant solar arrays.”
