Iridium Flash above Forbidden City

From the photographer: “In the evening of May 29, 2012, a -8 magnitude iridium flash – sudden brightening of Iridium communication satellite due to sunlight reflection – appeared over the Forbidden City in Beijing, China. I chose an observation spot in advance, thinking the turret of Palace Museum was a good decoration, however unfortunately, I had to decrease aperture because of the interference of landscape light.”
