High atmospheric Noctilucent Clouds (NLCs) above Ireland. As described by the photographer “The photograph is taken from the Maghera countryside, County Derry in Northern Ireland. The NLCs were bright enough to cast shadows. This display had a complex array of structure which extended over 100 degrees in azimuth”.
