From the photographer: “We had strong solar wind hitting earth producing kp6 geomagnetic storm, illuminating the beautiful waterfalls with northern lights. Hraunfossar are a small series of waterfall coming from under the lava field, Hallmundarhraun and falling in to the river, Hvítá.
