Howraman Summer Night

From the photographer: “Star trail above “Howraman-Takht” village on a summer night. Howraman is located between Kurdistan and Kermanshah province. Due to mountain conditions, most of its villages are stair-like. Because of a special annual ritual called “Pir Shalyar”, this village become very important for local people.

A movement in Iran started with the killing of “Mahsa Amini” by the government in Kurdish areas and spreads throughout Iran. The Kurdish people have always been oppressed by the Islamic Republic.”
