How Big Is Orion
Description
I went up to the Monte Croce Comelico Pass in the Dolomites on the evening of 2021 February 13. The temperature was very low, down to – 17 degrees C. I chose this focal length and this landscape to highlight the size of constellation Orion. The image was made with an astro-modified Nikon D600 and Sigma 50mm lens that helped me to reveal the nebulosity.
Photo-Composite. Blend of 10 stacked shots with star-tracker for the sky at iso 1000, f/2.2 and 1 shot for the landscape. NIKON D600, Sigma 50 mm.
