Gotland Dark Sky

The summer Milky Way from a dark seashore of Gotland, the largest island in the Baltic Sea. Gotland which was under water for 400 million years is made up of sedimentary rocks. The limestone rocks like the one pictured here with fascinating shapes are locally called Raukar and many of them are in fact very old coral reefs.
