Geminid Meteor and Pre-dawn Stars

From the photographer: “An intense Geminid Meteor appears in the last few fading stars over the Trona Pinnacles… as sunrise approaches over the horizon! I had never seen a shot of a meteor at sunrise or sunset, so I’m pretty excited about this one. I was also able to produce a time-lapse video of the Geminid Meteor Shower from this location. It gets best after the moon sets”
