Geminid Bolid

A Geminid bolid captured from Teide Observatory (IAC, Tenerife, Canary Islands). To the right of the bolid is Teide volcano (the highest mountain in Spain, 3,718 m), with hikers ascending to see the sunrise from the top. On the right you can see the eruption of Cumbre Vieja volcano on the island of La Palma about 100 km away. Green and red airglow are visible in the sky.
